How far in advance should I schedule my San Francisco house move?

During summer, it is better to schedule your move at least 3-4 weeks before the planned date. Usually, we are booked up 2-3 weeks in advance for busy days (the first and last week of each month and all Fridays and weekends). We may also be able to provide last-minute moving services but it really depends on our availability.

Do you offer house packing services?

Yes, Got2Move offers full packing and unpacking services (kitchenware, glassware, books, TVs, other electronics, and misc. items), disassembly and reassembly of heavy house items such as beds, sofas, drawers, kitchen appliances and more. We provide services of small house movers as well.

Do you offer storage services?

Yes, Got2Move can keep some of your valuable items in its storage facility located in San Leandro, CA. If our storage facility is fully occupied our professional office staff will help you to find an alternative solution recommending the best self-storage facilities throughout the whole USA.

Do you protect me against loss or damage while my goods are in transit?

Yes, we provide a Basic ($0.60 per pound per article) Coverage at no additional charge. Unlike most USA house movers, Got2Move also offers Actual Cash Value Protection (ACVP) or Full Value Protection (FVP) that cost extra.

How do you pack furniture?

Our house movers use professional furniture protection with high-quality plastic wrap, bubble wrap and moving pads. If needed we also disassemble some furniture for safe transportation.

Are there any house items you cannot move?

Yes, Got2Move cannot move:
— Hazardous material, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, drugs, corrosives, bleach, ammonia, nail polish remover and other chemicals and explosives.
— Flammable items such as propane tanks, aerosols, paint, gasoline, lighter fluid and kerosene.
